A very cute cat cushion that someone constructed out of a
hand sewn Dresden Plate vintage quilt, with very pretty cotton prints
in the patchwork. Tall, plump and with a sort of Mona Lisa smile, looks
lovely sitting serenely anywhere in the house or gazing out the window
as cats do! A lovely gift for someone who loves patchwork and cats.Age - The Dresden Plate quilt that was used to make the cat was circa 1930's. Where from - Nevada. Measurements - From base to ear tip approximately 17 inches, and across widest part of body 10 inches. Fraying - A tiny amount of fraying on the green patch on the tail. Holes - No. Stains - The quilt used had some light stains. Washed - Yes, the old stuffing was taken out and the cover washed, and new polyester stuffing used.
