A section from a pretty vintage quilt which could be re-used in
other craft items, or hemmed and made into a small decorative quilt.Age - Circa 1930's. Where from - Maine. Hand Sewn - The patchwork blocks have been hand sewn. Machine Sewn - The blocks have been machine set. Hand Quilted - Not quilted, but hand 'tied' with cotton threads. Materials Used - Plain Nile Green cotton with a pretty yellow, orange, white and green floral print and white daisies. Batting - A cotton flannel sheet was used for batting. Backing Material - The same floral cotton as was used in the patchwork. Measurements - Approximately 51 inches by 30 inches. Fraying - No. Loose Seams - Yes, a few. Holes - No. Stains - Yes, there are various marks on the front, plus some fading, please see photos. Washed - Yes. Notes - Postage on this piece will be £3.50
