This
is a large, pretty section from a vintage Sunbonnet Sue quilt which could
be re-hemmed to make into a small quilt, to use as a lap or cot quilt,
would look lovely over the back of an armchair, or hung on the wall as
a delightful wall hanging. Gorgeous pink cotton front and back!Age - Circa 1920's - 1930's. Where from - Florida. Hand Sewn - The Sues have been hand appliqued around the edges. Machine Sewn - Yes. Hand Quilted - Yes. Materials Used - A pretty plain pink cotton, white cotton and the Sues have different coloured cotton print dresses. Batting - Thin to medium thickness, cotton batting. Backing Material - A pale pink cotton. Measurements - Approximately 48 inches by 33 inches. Fraying - Some of the applique stitching has come undone around the figures.
