craft items, or re-hemmed and made into a small decorative quilt to go over the back of an armchair etc.Age - Circa 1960's Where from - Pennsylvania. Machine Sewn - Yes. Hand Quilted - Yes, fairly simply. Materials Used - Plain white and green cottons with coloured cottons in the patches. Batting - Thin thickness, cotton batting. Backing Material - White cotton. Measurements - If you were to cut the green border off the two sides this section would measure approximately 33 inches by 33 inches. Fraying - Yes, the green border has fraying and there are a couple of frayed patches. Holes - Where there is fraying. Holes all the way through - Yes, one very small hole, less than the size of a pea. Stains - Yes, please see the last three photos, there are some marks on the front and back. Washed - Yes.
