Here are 77 small bowtie pattern patchwork blocks. You could have
fun mix and matching these to make a few small decorative or doll
quilts or to use re-use in other craft items.Age - Circa 1910's. These were from an estate sale and were in a package of other blocks which were marked pre 1918. Where from - Missouri. Hand/machine sewn - The blocks are mainly hand sewn, a few have been machine sewn. Materials Used - An assortment of plain and patterned cottons. Some of the cottons are very fine, others of a thicker texture. Measurements - Approximately 4.5 inches square. Fraying - Some fraying of the edges. Loose Seams - A couple. Stains - A few storage marks. Washed - No, they are straight out of storage and will need a
gentle hand wash and iron or it might be best to do this when they have
