A bright quilt made out of thousands of patches, all hand sewn
together. Beautiful sunny colour combination, and in excellent strong
condition.Age - 1950's. Where from - Oregon. Hand Sewn - Yes. Hand Quilted - Yes. Hand and machine hemmed. Materials Used - Cotton fabrics, lots of pretty floral with a
few novelty prints of duck, kitten, rabbits. The hemming is a bright
yellow cotton binding. Two shades of white have been used on the front,
but this is not immediately noticeable. Batting - Thin thickness, cotton batting. Backing Material - White cotton. Measurements - Approximately 87 inches by 72 inches. The corners have been lightly rounded. Fraying - No. Holes - No. Stains - None on the front, the backing has some light storage
marks which you can just see in the photos if you look carefully, these
were probably along the fold lines. Washed - Yes.
