A whole cloth quilt, strong and practical being machine made, in a gorgeous large blue roses print on an off white.Age - Circa 1940's - 1950's. Where from - Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania. Not home made, there is a label on the quilt saying Made by Barclay Home Products. Machine Sewn - Yes. Machine Quilted - Yes. Machine Hemmed - Yes. Materials Used - A gorgeous large cabbage rose print in a cotton crepe and a blue frilled hem. Batting - Medium thickness, cotton batting. Backing Material - Same rose material. Measurements - Approximately 83 inches by 71 inches, measured into the blue ruffled hem. Fraying - No. Loose Seams - A few of the quilting machine sewn lines have come
undone a little. You can see in photos 16 and 17 there are a couple of
places where the fabric wasn't smooth when it was machine quilted. Holes - No. Stains - Yes, there are some several large pale marks on both sides, so this is not a pristine quilt. Washed - Yes. Notes - The first 9 photos show one side of the quilt, and then the next 9 photos show the reverse.
