A very pretty vintage floral quilt with bright pink roses, and blue flowers, the backing is a complementary bright cerise pink. A strong, practical quilt, which appears to have had very little use.Age - Circa 1940's - 1950's. Where from - Kansas. Machine Sewn - Yes. Hand Quilted - Yes, the quilting has been done in a pale pink cotton and along the grid lines on the pattern of the roses cloth. Machine Hemmed - Yes. Materials Used - The top is a very pretty floral cotton with dark pink roses and blue flowers. Batting - Medium thickness, cotton batting. Backing Material - A bright cerise pink plain cotton. Measurements - Approximately 84 inches by 66 inches, into the gently scalloped edges. Fraying - No. Holes - No. Stains - No stains, but the backing has a slight area of fading which you can see in the photo of the back. Washed - Yes.
