A beautiful quilt, in simple colours and dense patterned quilting.Age - Circa 1920's - 1940's. Where from - Canada. Hand Sewn - Yes, almost the whole quilt has been hand sewn in tiny neat stitches. Machine Sewn - There is a small amount of machine sewing in the border sashings. Hand Quilted - Yes, beautiful hand quilting including hearts and circles. Hand and machine hemmed. Materials Used - A dark pink plain cotton and white cotton. Batting - Thin thickness, cotton batting. Backing Material - White cotton. Measurements - Approximately 86 inches by 72 inches. Fraying - No. Holes - There is one tiny darn on the backing. Stains - There are several light marks, on the back and front, please see photos. Washed - Yes. Notes - A good opportunity to aquire a well made baskets
quilt, as without the few faults this quilt has, it would be selling at
a much higher price.
