A small sized antique quilt in the hard to aquire blue and white colour

lovely in an old cottage, on a single bed, or folded at the end of a
double bed.Age - Circa late 1800's. Where from - Ohio. Hand Sewn - The patchwork blocks have been hand sewn in tiny stitches. Machine Sewn - The blocks have been machine set. Hand Quilted - Yes. Hand Hemmed - Yes. Materials Used - White cottons which originally had prints, but
these have almost faded right away, and indigo blue calicoes - most of
which have faded to a very light blue, apart from one indigo blue which

light quilt. This is the type of quilt that needs smoothing out on the
bed. Backing Material - Off white cotton. Measurements - Approximately 72 inches by 51 inches. Fraying - A few areas on the quilt have been darned in the
quilt's long life - please see photos. One hem area has the largest
