The colours complement each other beautifully, quite an unusual colour combination and a great combination for using the quilt in rooms other than the bedroom. 	6160	'Roman Square' This is a very old small sized quilt, at least dating to the late 1800's, but likely to be mid 1800's. There is damage to one end thus it is listed under cutter quilts as this end could be trimmed off and re-hemmed to make a smaller quilt. An antique quilt in a simple nine patch pattern with a gentle colour scheme, livened by the pretty bolder colours of red and yellow.
